Joyau des Caraibes Ltd (JDC), operator of Silversands Grenada, has declared the acquisition of Port Louis Maritime Village and the undeveloped lands at Mount Cinnamon resort.
JDC’s expenditure in Port Louis Maritime Village and Mount Cinnamon lands will incorporate environmentally pleasant amenities, such as four 5-star hotels, a earth-class spa, exclusive residential villas, foods and beverage stores, retail, and an entertainment hub on Port Louis Marina. Masterplans for the developments are in varying phases of completion, with the groundbreaking of the initial development on Mount Cinnamon scheduled to start out in eighteen months. In total, there will be four hundred to 500 new rooms spread throughout the new hotels.
Mount Cinnamon is found just off of Grand Anse Beach front—the island’s most popular—while Port Louis Maritime Village is just south of Grenada’s cash, St. George’s. Silversands Grenada is located at the midway position between the two properties.
At the very least 1,500 new work opportunities will be established in the new hotels and linked amenities, management and functions, in addition to the ancillary work opportunities predicted in linked and supportive assistance and building industries.
Naguib Sawiris, JDC chairman explained in an announcement that he expects the jobs to, in turn, result in an increase in the a lot-required airlift to Grenada, “which is the cornerstone of the flourishment of the tourism market.”
Silversands Grenada opened in December 2018 its focal position is its three hundred-moreover-foot-long pool just beyond the lobby—which is touted as the longest pool in the Caribbean. The resort has fifty two keys, such as its 9 way-above-the-leading villas (5 of which are beachfront, though the remaining four on the hillside driving the house).
