The official website of Moscow’s mayor has released guidance on working with wild boars immediately after multiple sightings in the city’s parks. Muscovites have been suggested to move bit by bit absent, with no attracting the animal’s interest.

“Boars are cautious animals that will not attack a particular person with no provocation. Having said that, in circumstance of threat, they can be really aggressive, specially a boar with piglets,” said the website’s guidance. “When you meet up with a wild boar, industry experts advise you to freeze and attempt not to catch the attention of interest to yourself.”

As described by the mayor’s website, wild boars are quite robust and are quick runners. Though they have weak sight, they have an outstanding sense of odor.

Boars have been noticed in Moscow’s Bitsevsky Park and Moskvoretsky Character and Historic Park, as effectively as in the large inexperienced areas of New Moscow. Bitsevsky Park is a specifically protected purely natural area, positioned in the south of the metropolis.
