Adam Goldstein Steps Down at Royal Caribbean

Adam Goldstein has stepped down at Royal Caribbean. The move was effective Monday, March 2. 

Goldstein had been with Royal Caribbean since 1988. He served as president and then as president and CEO of Royal Caribbean International from 2005 until 2014. From 2014 to 2018 he served as president and chief operating officer of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., and as vice chairman, his most recent position, from 2018 to 2020.

Princess, Carnival Revise Cancellation Policies Due to Coronavirus

Princess Cruises and Carnival Cruise Line have temporarily revised their cancellation policies due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak. Both new policies will be in effect for cruises and cruise tours departing through May 31.

Princess said that the details of its revised policy vary by departure date:

Lufthansa, YLG Adopt Flexible Change Policy; JetBlue Extends It

The Lufthansa Group and Yankee Leisure Group (YLG) – the operator of Railbookers and Amtrak Vacations – have modified their cancellation and change policies due to the coronavirus outbreak. JetBlue has also extended its preexisting change waiver. 

Lufthansa Group airlines (Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines and Air Dolomiti) have introduced a general rebooking option through March 31. The Lufthansa Group airlines will waive the rebooking fees for all newly booked flights worldwide and offer a one-time rebooking, regardless of the condition of the original booking fare purchased. Passengers will be able to rebook through December 31.
